The Institution
SKR Meridian is the active institutional presence across India, the Gulf, and Southeast Asia. The practice draws on over three decades of direct advisory work across structured finance, capital structuring, cross-border facilitation, and private credit.
The institution operates through three regional presences: a global flagship, an India practice, and a Gulf presence. Each serves a distinct geographic audience from a single, unified advisory platform. The legal entity and the institutional values are the same across all three.
SKR Meridian is not an NBFC. It does not lend, invest, or take positions. Every engagement is advisory and fee-based. The institution can speak without a conflict of interest and structure without selling.
Engagements are selective. The practice does not operate at scale. It operates at depth.
The Principal

The practice is built on thirty-eight years of direct advisory work - not theoretical, not institutional, not inherited. Every service offered by SKR Meridian has been delivered personally, at the transaction level, across multiple market cycles, regulatory regimes, and geographies.
The founding of the practice in 2016 was a deliberate act of institution-building: the formalisation of a practice that had operated, informally, for decades. The name, the structure, and the positioning were chosen with the same care given to every client mandate. Nothing superfluous, nothing left unclear.
SKR Meridian is a broadening of that founding. From a single-geography boutique to a multi-regional institutional presence, without changing the values, the approach, or the voice that made the original practice worth building.

How We Work
Every engagement begins with a precise understanding of the situation: the capital need, the structural constraint, the timeline, the counterparty. The structure follows from that. A client who arrives with a specific structure in mind will be told, honestly, whether that structure is correct for their situation.
Most engagements begin with a single conversation. That conversation establishes whether there is alignment in situation, approach, and timing. If there is, the engagement proceeds. If there is not, that is said clearly. No obligation, no pitch, no follow-up unless one is requested.
The institution does not publish mandates, announce transactions, or name clients. Confidentiality is structural, built into how the practice operates. Clients who require discretion do not need to ask for it.
